Banfil Office Court
St. Paul Minnesota

The Banfil Office Court campus was created in the early 1980’s when the 555 and 561 buildings were relocated from Banfil Street to the current site and restored. Reportedly, 555 was the largest building ever relocated in the state at the time and the event was featured by Charles Kuralt in his weekly CBS Sunday Morning television show. The 557 building is native to the site. The exterior features of the buildings were largely preserved while the plumbing, electrical, mechanical, interior walls, woodwork, insulation and windows were modernized. The buildings and parking lot were owned by independent parties until 1999 when Alliant REH, LLP acquired all three buildings and the parking lot. The campus was re-landscaped, buildings were tuck-pointed and repainted, windows were re-fitted, roofs and mechanical systems were upgraded. In 2011 a 7Kw Solar PV electric power system was installed atop the 555 building.
